报告题目:Inverse Random Scattering Problems for Wave Equations

报告摘要:In this talk, inverse random scattering problems with a random source or potential will be introduced for different time-harmonic wave equations. The unknown random source or potential is assumed to be a generalized isotropic Gaussian random field with its covariance operator being a classical pseudo-differential operator. With information of the data observed in a bounded domain, the strength of the random source or potential, involved in the principal symbol of its covariance operator, is shown to be uniquely determined by a single realization of the magnitude of the wave field averaged over the frequency band with probability one.

王旭,2013年6月获得厦门大学理学学士学位,后保研至中科院数学与系统科学学院进行硕博连读,并于2018年6月获得计算数学博士学位。2018-2021年赴美国Purdue University担任Golomb访问助理教授,于2021年8月入职中科院数学与系统科学研究院。主要从事随机偏微分方程数值计算、随机波动方程反问题等方面的研究工作,在Springer出版社出版一本学术专著《Invariant Measures for Stochastic Nonlinear Schrödinger Equations: Numerical Approximations and Symplectic Structures》(Lecture Notes in Mathematics 2251,合著)。研究成果发表在SIAM J. Numer. Anal.、SIAM J. Sci. Comput.、SIAM J. Appl. Math.、Inverse Problems、IMA J. Numer. Anal.、Stochastic Process. Appl.、J. Differential Equations等国际重要学术期刊。
